The group at Tobey & Company is a small one, as you can see. But we have a lot of talent, energy and share high tolerances for pain. These traits seem to compensate for our number. And, in fact, they may turn our size to a considerable advantage.
	The Farm. We work in an old farm house, originally built in 1762, that is surrounded by pastures and woods. The local area network; Mac, NT and UNIX equipment housed on this farm and the web work that goes on inside would have alarmed the dairy farmer who constructed it.
	Peter W. Tobey Peter has run Tobey & Company, this advertising and marketing business, for fifteen years. In an earlier life, he wrote several books, most non-fiction. He also owned and operated a book publishing company that produced scores of trade paperbacks and hundreds of mass market fiction titles. He was the editor and publisher of HOUSE PLANTS & Porch Gardens, a monthly horticultural magazine with a circulation of 200,000. He graduated from Haverford College long ago but not very far away.
	F. X. Kelly Fran has a B.F.A. in fine arts from James Madison University. He is an all-around design guy with a strong multi-media background. He works in all four dimensions, from Illustrator to HTML and Macromedia Director. He has also created 3-dimensional models and animations. His work on the web involves Java and Cold Fusion-driven sites.
	Laurie Marks After Moore College of Art and a few years of working on-staff as a layout designer and art director, Laurie focused on working as an illustrator. Her illustrations have appeared in regional and national books, magazines, newspapers and other publications. After years of running her own illustration and design studio, she assumed a position as art director of one of Philly's leading newsweeklies then moved to the staff of Philadelphia Forum. In 1997 she started with Tobey & Company.
	Carol Ravel Carol received her B.F.A., Advertising Art from Kutztown University and has held Marketing/Communications positions with several internationally recognized corporations. Her work includes successful Advertising and Marketing programs for both business-to-business , and consumer products companies such as Teleflex, Proctor-Silex, CRC Chemicals, The Gourmet Group, Sonoco and most recently Fres-co Systems USA.
